17 more shopping days...

So... who besides me, has not finished shopping for Christmas?

I took the kids to the mall yesterday.
I bought one Christmas gift.

But I did come home with this adorable photo.

I have an extremely busy week coming up. I have some paintings to paint, AND some assignments for papercraft companies. I was going to make it a point to blog each and every day until Christmas, but just in case I don't, well.... you'll know.

Here is the first painting I created in over a year. It's 30" wide and 2 feet tall.
Called "Jerusalem".

And last but not least, a quote from Dr. Seuss's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"

And the Grinch, with his grinch-feet ice-cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling: "How could it be so? "It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or bags!" And he puzzled and puzzed, till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't thought of before! "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. "Maybe Christmas...perhaps...means a little bit more!"
