Not only is it Friday, it's the first day of August. It feels like it, too. We are expecting 101 degree temps today - and no sign of rain. The poor grass here is so brown, despite my attempts to keep it watered. Me and hubby have been doing movie date nights on Fridays - so that's another reason I like Fridays. What do you like about Friday??
So here are a few things I made recently. The first is a card I made using Webster's Pages papers. They have a monthly challenge on their
Inspire Me website, and this is the card I made for the July challenge.

Check out the blog at
Emma's Paperie today. The Design Team was challenged to create some things using a stationery gift box. The projects are amazing. I got to play along with them for July, so here's my shadow box I made with the stationery box. The papers are Sassafrass Lass and Graphic 45. See the blog for the complete supply list.

And last, this was a fun little challenge I gave myself. I recently bought some Cuttlebug die cut and embossing folder combo sets. I wanted to use them, so to make it interesting, I challenged myself to limit my supplies. I only used 2 different colors of cardstock. The teal has a white core and I sanded it. The three cards are all made using the "With Gratitude" set. The 4th card uses the "Argyle" embossing folder.

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope you stay cool.
