Time Warp???

Back to the Future
Peggy Sue Got Married
Somewhere in Time
Lost

What do these have in common - time travel. That's where I feel like I've been for the last 2 months - and it may be so for 3 more months. I've been reconnected with many of my high school classmates - and we've been catching up, planning small get-to-gethers and sharing photos. And oh, the photos are amazing! I just love vintage photos, but gosh - vintage photos from your old school days? Nothing like it. And to top it off - I'm taken up the wonderful task of planning our reunion. It's not a milestone number (believe it or not) - but when everyone started connecting - it was unanimous - let's do it now.

So today - I'll share with you a few images from the time-warp that I'll be living in for at least the next 3 months.

My favorite photo this week is a photo of a fun little recreational spot on the lake. It's no longer there - which is probably why it's even more sentimental. This is family and friends of one of my classmates.

This is a trip the band took to Orlando. I'm holding onto the whale fin.

This is a fun photo I took of some Junior girls with some Freshman boys. So silly.

And this is our 8th grade band marching thru the Bicenntenial Parade. (Yeah - I know - that dates me! But I guess you figured it out when you saw the girl with the Farrah Fawcett do..). I'm in the back - behind all the tall people.

Thanks for letting me share my time warp photos!

And now time to come back to the present. I just got finished playing with the May Cupcardstogo Kit and OH MY! I couldn't stop playing with it! You will LOVE this kit! Enjoy the peek!

That's it for now. I'm going to try to stay in the present long enough to get some pages done. Hmmm...maybe I should scrap something with the vintage photo. Aaha!! Sounds fun. Thanks for stopping by!!

Have a wonderful Monday! I'm always excited on Monday afternoons because I know that two of my favorite TV series come on!

April Showers are Here

Right now it's raining cats and dogs and I just want to crawl back in the bed with my sweet little doxie and sleep the rest of the morning. Ahhh - but soo much to do today.

Yesterday I went to a small neighboring town with a high school friend and surprised another high school friend. A fun surprise for April Fool's Day, don't you think? We had lunch that lasted for 3 hours and laughed so hard my side hurt. It was fun. And yes, we are planning a big reunion since it's been ages.

Well, on this rainy April day I have some fun things to share. The Cupcardstogo Kit for April has been posted and is now available for sale. Hurry if you want one. Here are some of the cards I created with the kit.

I'll be in my studio today working on a commissioned painting...listening to the rain. Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Thinking of Summer and a peek

I still have lots of beach photos I need to scrap. I just love going through my beach vacation pics. I made this one a few months ago when it was still cold outside. Most of the supplies are from one of the fall Studio Calico kits.

Lots of Sassafrass Lass in this kit, as you can see.

And here's a peek! The April CupCardsToGo kit will be available for sale in just a few days, and they sold out super fast last month. If you are even thinking of getting this - you had better be fast.

Have a great humpday and weekend!

March winds doth blow...

If you wondered where I've been, all I can say is that March truly has been a windy month for me! I started a new part-time job for a photographer and I'm learning all kinds of new editing programs. And in another fun thing that is not related at all to my new job - I was asked to be a still photographer for a local movie production. I spent several hours in a wet misty cemetary shooting. It was fun. I'll put some photos at the bottom of this post. Anyway - all these things at once has cut my blogging and papercrafting time in more-than-half, but I'm adjusting! I just spent a couple of days at a local crop and made some progress, had some "down-time" and laughed with friends.

I realize I never posted the rest of my March CupCards2Go cards, and pretty soon I'll be posting peeks of my April cards. Yikes! Time has flown.

Okay - so here are some more cards done with the March Cupcardstogo kit. The music papers are from Piggy Tales and the stamp is from Unity Stamps.

And I have one page to share. This page is done with the new CHA Winter papers from Dream Street Papers. This is the "Heartsong" collection.

And, as promised, here are a couple of stills I shot last weekend for my friend's new movie. As my schedule permits, I'll be doing more.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!!!

Welcome March

I was cleaning house yesterday - the first day of March. My daughter said "Mom, are you having someone over?" I told her no. Then she said "Are you cleaning house because it's the first day of March?".

I guess if that were the case, then I'm done until April 1.

Anyway - the first of March at CupCardsToGo means that you can see the kit and what the design team created with it. The March kit is called "Magic Moments". It has some Basic Grey, Making Memories, Dream Street and oodles of other goodies.

Here's a couple of cards that I made with this kit.

The stamp on the above card is also included in the kit. It's from Unity Stamps.

You can see the entire design team gallery here. You can see the kit contents of the Magic Moments kit here.

Have a great day and I hope you see spring flowers soon!
